My Philosophy Statement
As a Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a distinguished academic background encompassing a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Drexel University, Bachelor of Technology (Microbiology) from Federal University of Technology, Owerri- Nigeria (Summa Cum Laude) alongside additional accomplishments, including a Master’s in Business Administration from Lagos Business School of Pan African University, Nigeria, and a Doctorate of Business Administration from the esteemed University of Liverpool, UK, I am fully committed to making a profound impact on my community.
In my capacity as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), I am driven to excel in various domains, including medication management, psychotherapy, clinical treatment, patient education, and family support, with a specific focus on addressing mental illness across the lifespan. My relentless dedication to these vital areas of care underscores my unwavering commitment to the betterment of my patients’ lives.
Central to my professional ethos is the belief in holistic and patient-centered care, recognizing the multifaceted nature of individuals and their unique healthcare needs. A key part of my PMHNP work will be to use empirical evidence in educating my patients, patients’ families, and the community about mental illness and its effective management. I will be willing to find part-time teaching roles in some Universities, to enable me share my experience and knowledge with students and prepare the next batch of psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioners.
